Shirley Hogsett

With over 20 years of experience in the meeting and events industry, Shirley leverages her expertise to secure speaking engagements for her speakers at prestigious universities, corporations, professional associations, trade conferences, and international events. Her mission is to create impactful experiences that transcend the stage, catalyzing organizational change and delivering tangible returns on investment.

Previously, Shirley served as the Director of Sponsorship and Partnership for Empowering A Billion Women (EBW), a global organization dedicated to empowering women to build sustainable businesses. During her tenure, she also facilitated EBW's Six-Figure Accelerator program for women business owners from Spain and the United States.

As a partner with Trade with Africa Business Summit, Shirley's company fosters trade linkages between business leaders and service providers from Africa and the U.S., driving economic growth for both regions.

Shirley's dedication to empowering Thought Leaders and Women Entrepreneurs has led her to serve in various impactful roles. She is the Founding Director of the Chicagoland chapter of the Public Speakers Association, President, and member of the Board of Directors of the Bellwood (IL) Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a two-year term as a Chicago Steering Committee Member of the 2020 Women on Boards, a national campaign advocating for increased female representation on U.S. company boards.
