About Tiffany
Tiffany Norwood is considered one of the top innovators and tech entrepreneurs in the world. A pioneer across digital broadcasting, broadband internet, digital music, ed-tech, and eSports, her start-ups have impacted billions of people in 150+ countries.
She became a CEO as a junior at Cornell, filed for a patent at age 19, and by 27 had raised over $670M to fund WorldSpace — launching three satellites, building the first-ever global digital radio platform (including XM Radio), supporting MP3/MP4 development, and (at the request of President Mandela) investing in solar-powered satellite radio receivers for South Africa's truth and reconciliation campaign.
She was named the 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year for Cornell University — the first Black woman to receive this lifetime achievement award in its nearly forty-year history — and one of Startups Magazine's 23 Most Influential Women of 2023.
Today she is Founder and CEO of Tribetan and a legacy Co-Founder of SimWin Sports, the first-ever digital sports league platform.
